It offers travel content to various destinations in German and English for use on Websites and applications; and produces and licenses mobile travel companions for tour operators, travel agencies, portals, and destinations on the basis of modularly structured software. Customers include Thomas Cook, Expedia, ITS Reisen. tourias provides white label solutions as well as its own brand “TOURIAS Travel Guide with more than 150 destinations. The mobile travel guide has been installed over 500 thousand times.
In addition to the investment, Mairdumont Ventures will provide access to content from its portfolio, such as MARCO POLO, Baedeker, DuMont, Lonely Planet as well as its technology and media access.
Tourias was founded in 2010 and is based in Würzburg, Germany.
